Removal Job: Gold Coast to Brisbane for HOTA (Home of the Arts)

Cut Rate Removals was hired to go to the HOTA Complex (loading dock 4) to relocate 62 ply-boards, each weighing 35kg. Each board was 4 metres long and had a thickness of 19mm. A job like this sounds easy but in actual fact is hard work and energy sapping.

On top of that, access at both pick-up and drop off was difficult. Resulting in a 40 + metre walk with load, between the removal truck and the storage area. Just to load the truck took 1.5 hours. This was due in part to other vehicles blocking the access dock.

A good tip for customers is to ensure that on the day of the removal job, the access area is clear so we can get as close as possible. It will save time and money.

We completed the relocation to everyone’s satisfaction.
